At Smile Orthodontics, our community always comes first.  While we set up our business and charity to serve our community in the best way possible we also believe it’s equally important to serve outside of the confines of our business.

Whether it’s volunteering teaching dental education at local schools, founding/leading a Girl Scout Troop, or coaching/sponsoring local youth athletics, we are deeply committed to being an active member of our community.

We proudly support the local schools/PTA’s and athletics as well as organizations like Hamptons Community Outreach and The Retreat.

GIFTED GRINS

Providing Free Braces to Children

Smile Orthodontics is excited to introduce Gifted Grins by Dr. Sarah, a new program offering free orthodontic services to deserving students in the Montauk community, in collaboration with Montauk School. This initiative is part of Smile Orthodontics’ broader commitment to the Hamptons area, where they strive to make orthodontic care more accessible through accessible services and advanced technology at their East Hampton and Southampton locations.

Dr. Sarah Schroetter, the founder and a local resident, is motivated by a desire to support her community by aiding children who need orthodontic care but cannot afford it. Gifted Grins will initially provide free orthodontic treatments to two students from Montauk School each year, chosen with the school staff’s help based on academic performance and orthodontic need.

The program aims to improve recipients’ mental and physical health by enhancing their smiles and confidence, with plans to expand to more schools in the Hamptons. Smile Orthodontics is grateful for the support from Montauk School’s Superintendent Joshua Odom, Nurse Karen Theiss, and Social Worker Jaime Balsam in starting this initiative. Gifted Grins aspires to positively affect children’s confidence and self-esteem, making a meaningful difference in the community.
